Random Blathering

Good Monday morning, all!
I'm not too sure how much I like this new blogger dashboard. Between this and having to get used to that (awful IMO) Facebook Timeline, it seems my need to learn all these new techno doo-dads has increased!

As I type it is a rainy Spring day, comforting actually...makes me want to curl up in bed again. Alas, there is much to do.

I'm slowly but surely working on my next novella. I've chosen the name The Beltaine Wager as its title. I have mapped out the eight story series until book five as of now and I feel like these characters are friends, some are almost like family.

That's all from here. Short I know, but I need to gather my stuff and head out the door on this chilly, rainy morning.

What is everyone up to? Happy Monday and Happy Week!!!

The Excitement of a New Cover

Since my time between my first two releases was so long, the excitement that came along with having a story accepted was a dull memory. But it's amazing how fast I remembered the excitement when I saw my the cover art that Annie Marshall created for me.
I love it and my characters were truly captured in this image!
Release date has not been announced as of yet, but I will keep you all in the loop!

Momentum Gained

I've been on a roll these past couple of weeks as far as writing. It seemed that once I finished the story had had nagged, plagued and confused me, something shifted. While the three-year hiatus between Litha Dreams and this story wasn't a lazy one, the writing I did was half-hearted. It was a struggle for me to carve time out of the day to even write 100 words. Lately though, I'm making time and having fun with my work.
I find myself longing for a 'staycation' where I can stay home, lounge in my pajamas for a week, and write a couple of novellas. Better yet...the staycation can last the rest of my life! I can dream, right?
Who else among ye has experienced this same burst of focus when you completed a project?
Happy Wednesday, all!

Kiss Nail Dress Product Review

I have NO TIME to sit around and wait for nail polish to dry, so when I found a complimentary pack of Kiss Nail Dress for my review in my Influenster Love VoxBox, I knew I found a product that I would make VERY good use of!
This is PERFECT for both nails and toes! You peel, apply, and shape and get a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. You do not have to use polish remover to get it off, either. 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs are available. Fun colors like Peplum, a deep black with multi-colored gems and Babydoll, with a golden and glamorous jeweled look, can dress you up for any occasion!Top Coat is bulit right in to the Nail Dress strips.

28 strips are in each package and you can use your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. A nail design booklet is included in each packageto give you some ideas!
Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

My verdict is: GREAT for busy people!!!

Truvía® Natural Sweetener Product Review

I was so excited to get my Influenster Love VoxBox and find a great little box of Truvia Natural Sweetener in it.
I am big coffee drinker and have wanted to cut back on my sugar use. Yes, Truvia has been on my list of things to try, but I was worried that it would taste chemical. NOPE! Truvia tastes natural and doesn't leave a bad afertaste.
I went over to the Truvia website (www.truvia.com) to learn more about baking with this product (you need HALF as much Truvia as compared to sugar!)
Definitely a must buy for me! Two thumbs up!
